PERSONAL NOTE
Acknowledgement is due to rural sheep farmers in areas of the world where traditionally they
have raised and sheared their sheep with care and respect, as the gift of warm wool has been
most beneficial for their climate.
SOURCE
We avoid 'industrial' materials, preferring fair trade through co-operative groups, and well
documented organic growers.When possible we use locally grown plant fibre.
Yarn SUPPLIERS
We support local business and within Canada, and enjoy a well researched and transparent
relationship with our Suppliers. Dyes used are natural, plant-based and non toxic.
Packaging, promotion, tags and needles we use are mostly 100% natural or recycled.

DarDarsHandKnits® uses plant based yarns from suppliers who support ethical, sustainable material – crop to mill and natural plant dye.
We knit with Organic Cotton and Linen, paying attention to avoid toxic additions.
We use some Bamboo so long as no toxins are added.
We knit Love into every stitch, and remain open to continuing research for pure sources.
Our suppliers are within Canada and mainly close to our BC home.
Each knit has a unique quality and is often 'one of a kind'.
